Prototal Industries, the largest and most specialized manufacturing company for polymer additive manufacturing and injection molding in the Nordics, expands its operations into the UK through the acquisition of 3T Additive Manufacturing Polymers.

Prototal Industries and AM Global Holding have announced today the sale of 3T Additive Manufacturing Polymers (3T AMP) to Prototal, a manufacturing powerhouse from the Nordics for the realization of small batches of prototypes to flexible serial production of plastics parts. AM Global separated 3T AMP earlier this year to focus solely on polymer manufacturing, whilst retaining 3T Additive Manufacturing (3T AM) to focus on metal manufacturing.
The agreement, which was signed yesterday, means 3T AMP customers now become part of the Prototal family, gaining access to a wide range of polymer additive technologies including injection molding and PU casting, under a single brand. The 3T AMP acquisition is Prototal’s first outside the Nordics, marking the company’s intention to extend its reach throughout Europe, by extending its family of specialized manufacturing brands.
3T AMP brings twenty years of industry expertise and one of the largest capacities in Europe for polymer additive manufacturing into the Prototal family. 3T AMP holds some of the highest quality certifications for aerospace (AS 9100) and medical (ISO 13485) production. The company is approved by many of the leading OEMs in the UK for supply of serial components.
